Description
In collaboration with other Humana Specialty Pharmacy and Enterprise strategy teams, facilitates the creation and implementation of competitive strategy, strategic planning and growth plan execution for HSP.
The focus of this role will be on standing up, building out, and managing a comprehensive strategic development framework and strategic planning function for HSP growth and to drive strategic decision-making and subsequent execution. As part of the Humana Pharmacy Growth Team, this role will also be responsible for identifying, driving, and executing new business opportunities for the Specialty Pharmacy segment of Humana's key businesses in order to strengthen Humana's competitive position and grow our business.
This role supports Humana Pharmacy Solutions' strategic decision-making, market analysis and trends, and portfolio analysis to support new business opportunities, joint ventures, M&A, partnerships, and strategic alliances.

To fulfill the responsibilities of this role, the Director will engage strategy professionals, oversee consultants as needed, as well as collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to include Pharmacy Business Development, Corporate Strategy & Development, Pharmacy Analytics, Humana Pharmacy Reporting, Finance, Product Development, Provider Sales, Marketing, Digital, Pharmacy Operations, Trade Relations, Pharmacy Networks and Pharmacy Clinical Products in leading cross-functional HSP growth efforts.
Qualifications / Role Desirables:
Significant knowledge and understanding of the Specialty pharmaceutical supply chain and competitive landscape
Experience in strategic planning, business development, and M&A
Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams
Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and build relationships with people across all levels and organizations internally and externally
An entrepreneurial mindset and collaborative team player, including a high tolerance for ambiguity, a penchant for experimentation, and a bias towards action
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications
Strong work ethic, detail orientation and passion for excellence
Knowledge of general financial and accounting principals

Masters of Business Admission
