Job Summary

Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Finance & Accounting functions. Oversees the development and preparation of budgeting, forecasting and general reporting. Provides direct supervision to Finance& Accounting staff. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.

Job Description

When it is safe to do so, the position will be returning to “The Battery” Atlanta, GA office. The work schedule is Monday-Friday with 2-3 work from home days.

Core Responsibilities

Manages all financial planning and analysis related to revenue expense and capital spending.

Focuses on the big picture to provide strategic recommendations.

Maintains budgets and forecasts in finance systems and provides leadership with forecasts based on trends and statistical models.

Prepares financial reports and coordinates month and year-end processes.

Develops and utilizes financial models and analyses for Finance & Accounting staff.

Hires, supervises, trains, and develops Finance & Accounting staff. Offers guidance to employees, especially in Revenue.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Job Specifications

Leadership experience.

Experience in financial modeling and trend analysis.

Background in financial planning and analysis.

Background in revenue and/or expense reporting, a plus.
