Job Summary

The Manager, Financial Operations is responsible for organizing and directing financial planning, analyses and support for the XGIE (Xfinity Growth, Innovation & Experience) Finance organization and its leadership. This role is responsible for the creation, consolidation and implementation of annual budgets, long range plan and monthly forecasts, month-end close reporting, as well as ad hoc financial analysis to support leadership in the decision-making process. This role works across XGIE Finance and is expected to partner / collaborate closely with the respective FP&A teams and XGIE business units to ensure information and deliverables are timely and accurate.

Core Responsibilities

Compares financial results to planned or forecasted results and recommends future actions. Analyzes the ongoing profitability of all new businesses and/or programs entered into by the Company.

Serves as a technical liaison to Accounting, management and other staff by providing financial planning experience, financial information and modeling, activity analysis and variance analysis.

Prepares and reviews budget materials for executive leaders and the Board.

Performs and critiques economic evaluation justifications for capital expenditures.

Supervises, coaches, develops and prioritizes the workflow for Senior Financial Analyst and team members assigned to project teams.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
